There will also be scarlet tanagers along the way and several species of vireos and thrushes. Registration is required. Mark leads Warbler Walks for the Iowa City Bird Club that take place at 6:30 a.m. every weekday morning at Hickory Hill Park in Iowa City. Mark has also been a longtime supporter of Bur Oak and formerly served on the Bur Oak board. Things to know: Parking is not allowed on Starry Night Lane. Parking will be available at the Johnson County Conservation area northeast of the Big Grove entrance. Signs will be posted for parking. Trails are maintained but also include natural tripping hazards and may be muddy this time of year. The hiking route may also include hills that are steep.
