The event is full. Please join Bur Oak Land Trust's Land Steward, Sarah Lawinger, on a Turkey Creek Nature Preserve tour. The tour will focus on the work being done to manage the land for pollinator habitat. The federally endangered rusty-patched bumble bee has been observed at this preserve. Turkey Creek Nature Preserve is 107 acres of woods and former pasture land that includes more than 15 acres of reconstructed prairie. The land was donated in 1981. There are constructed trails and there is access to Turkey Creek. Please wear hiking shoes and dress for the weather, bring water, and please know there is no restroom at the preserve.
