Be a part of our effort to help pawpaws, and the zebra swallowtail butterfly that depends on them, make a comeback in eastern Iowa. Kits include 12 seeds, 6 pots and instructions for growing your pawpaws. Pick-up is during Prairie Preview from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Iowa City Senior Center. Stop by the Bur Oak table and we will have your supplies ready for you. We can also answer any questions you have! These plants are yours to keep, but if you'd like to make a pawpaw donation, we would love to plant some more pawpaw trees on our preserves.
