DETAILS

**Reservations are now closed!** Bring more biodiversity and more habitat for bees and birds to Iowa City with native plants! Native shrubs, like serviceberry, wild plum and arrowwood viburnum, are more resilient to the impacts of climate change, like soil erosion, drought or flooding, and return year after year. These plants also provide food and shelter for birds, butterflies, native bees and other pollinators better than nonnative plants. Please read carefully: All prairie containers have been reserved! Households can choose a bundle of 4 bare root native shrubs. Limit one bundle per household. Households must have an Iowa City zip code to participate. This program is funded by a Climate Action Grant from the city of Iowa City. Plant pick-up will be in mid-April; time, date and location to be determined.
