Gratitude is a gift, both given and received. Join Bur Oak Land Trust Education Coordinator Amanda Stallman for a hands-on workshop celebrating 40 years of Prairie Preview and the practice of gratitude through nature-inspired art. Participants will meet at Johnson County Conservation area Cangleska Wakan then hike next door to Bur Oak's Big Grove Preserve to harvest flowers and grasses to create a meaningful handmade pressed gift. Plan to wear shoes for hiking and long layers, and feel free to bring any small flowers and grasses, collage materials like magazines, paper to incorporate in the craft. All other materials will be provided. This event is open to all ages and skill levels — no artistic experience necessary!
