Bur Oak staff will lead a free family-friendly hike on Jan. 1 at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The trail route is mostly flat with some inclines and is suitable for all ages. At Turkey Creek, space is limited to 20 parking spots so carpooling is recommended. Please register only one person per vehicle, even if more than one person is attending together. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes, and warm layers, and bring water. There are no public restrooms at the preserve.
